My work fields



  • I have studied the kinetics of some redox reactions in solutions, extremely fast, of the order of milliseconds, the experimental results being a part of the elaboration of the PhD thesis with the title: “Fast redox reactions for reducing the ions Cu(II) with thiocombinations”;
    - I have achieved the stopped flow apparatus which is functional, prepared for experiments;
    - I have done the study of the kinetics of fast redox reaction Cu2+ with thiosulphate, the elaboration of the reaction’s mechanism, the calculus of the kinetic parameters. The results compared with the ones obtained nationally and internationally prove the priority of the studies achieved by the research team which proposes this project;
    - I have knowledge in detecting the traces of substances, as well as in achieving chromatographic, spectrophotometer analyses, qualitative and quantitative analyses of substances, as well as mass spectrometry. The knowledge of the project’s manager have been obtained at the Institute of Isotopic and Molecular Technology Cluj-Napoca where she worked for 2 years and 2 months as research assistant in the laboratory of physical-chemical analyses of isotopic marked compounds.

  • The license paper with the title: “The kinetics of isotopic exchange 15N/14N in the system NO-HNO3 and the dissertation paper: ”The kinetics of isotopic exchange 15N/14N in the system NO-HNO3 with respect to temperature” have been elaborated as a result of the experimental results obtained in collaboration with the Laboratory for Isotopic Exchange at ITIM Cluj-Napoca.
    - I have participated at synthesis of organic compounds marked with stable isotopes by doing the necessary documentation as well as the experimental parts. She has done numerous chemical and isotopic analyses of the samples of plants and soils marked with 15N using the work at low temperatures and the technique of vide.
    - I have used a systemic research of the processes of separation on columns with filling;
    - I have pursued the mathematical modelling and numerical simulation of different regimes of operation of the kinetics of isotopic exchange;
    - I have pursued the modelling and simulation of complete physical-chemical processes;
    - I am interested in the study of pollutants, pollution sources, air’s purification, desulphurization of residual gases that come from the smoke, also having papers published in these fields.
